New Lens

Yesterday I splashed out on a new lens. A Nikon 50mm f/1.4 to be exact.

Mushrooms and Mud

What seemed like a good start to a photography trip to Epping Forest ended up to be disappointing and muddy. Well, I guess that happens to the inappropriately dressed.

So its not shallow mud after all.

It was a little embarrassing walking past people who wore gum boots.

Autumn Freeze

This is simply autumn leaves put into water to freeze for a few hours then photographed in front of a window. In photoshop I adjusted the colour balance, shadows and highlights and saturation.

Smokey

Its been a while since my previous post. Mainly because I'm a bit tired of shooting landscapes, wildlife and cityscapes. So, today I bought a SB800 speedlight for my Nikon and went staight to work in my makeshift studio.
